Hockey Regular Season Nearing an End
There are just a little over a handful more games left this season and teams are starting to clinch playoff births. In the east the competition remains tight. The Rangers, Penguins and Flyers have all clinched a birth and those three teams all belong to the same division, the Atlantic. Those three teams are still in competition for the division title and number one playoff seed. The Bruins and Senators are still in a battle for their division as well. It appears as if they are fighting for the number two seed. Finally, the Panthers and Capitals are fighting for their division. They appear to be fighting for the number three seed and the lose of the battle looks like will wrap up the number eight seed. The Devils currently look to be a lock for the number six seed pending on any rapid changes through the rest of the season. All division titles will come down to the wire and should make for a great last two weeks of hockey. Looks like the playoffs are starting early this year.
